Hosted at the headquarters of UNIDROIT, which this year marks its centenary (1926–2026), the discussions were structured around six working groups covering governance, international development, membership renewal, bylaws, communication, and internal coordination. Exchanges were direct, constructive, and focused on actionable outcomes, which will inform the Association’s strategic roadmap for the coming years.
The programme also included a scientific seminar on the future of the single market for financial services, chaired by Roberto Ferretti, with contributions from Carmine Di Noia (OECD) and Fabrizio Pagani (Vitale & Associati). The subsequent debate was coordinated by Bertrand Bréhier and further enriched the discussion.
Beyond the working sessions, participants visited the Italian Constitutional Court and the Palazzo del Quirinale, gaining a closer perspective on the institutional foundations that underpin European legal and financial frameworks.
The Association extends its sincere thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the meeting, in particular Roberto Ferretti and AEDBF Italia, Antonella Sciarrone Alibrandi, Michela Porro, and Filippos Siozos, for their outstanding organisational work.
The Rome meeting marks a transition from reflection to implementation as AEDBF prepares its next strategic phase.
